When I was married, I never expected I would be walking through a divorce, it’s not why anyone gets married. That was my situation. I have sisters that are single, and homeowners and it always looked so intimidating, but I always admired them for this tremendous accomplishment. I was now in the position to make my own way and while I had owned a home with someone, this was going to be MINE!

This would be my very own home and I was the one to make all the decisions about what I wanted and to care for the place.

I was lucky to know Jill.

We sat down and discussed where I wanted to live. I was living in the east valley, but I was tired of the drive to work, but all my friends were on that side of town. I was uncertain about next steps.

Jill was patient. She asked questions and helped me to discover what was important. We talked about what features I wanted in the home and what my priorities were.

We looked at what seemed like a million homes (it wasn’t). Jill walked me though my first offer (which was not accepted) and I could not have been luckier. We ended up finding the home I was meant to be in.

I don’t know if I will ever move again but if I did, I would certainly connect with Jill again for her kindness, knowledge, and hard work.
